A STARRRY NIGHT AT GRACIE’S

Gracie’s will host a kick-off event for Lifecycle’s fifth annual Ride ‘Round Rhody bike-a-thon from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the restaurant, 194 Washington St., Providence. Musical guest Erika Van Pelt and WJAR-TV NBC 10’s Barbara Morse will host the event, which will feature dinner, drinks, music and awards. A silent auction and raffle will be held. Proceeds will go toward a new clinical oncology trial at The Miriam Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital. Cocktail attire is requested. Valet parking will be available. Tickets: $100. TOUR DE PATRICK RACE SERIES

The Tour de Patrick, a series of three 5k races held during eight days, will begin with the Irish 5K to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 in Pawtucket. The race will start and finish at Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Ave., Pawtucket. Additional races include the St. Pat’s 5K, to be held Saturday, March 9, in Providence, and the Celtic 5K, to be held Sunday, March 10, in Worcester, Mass. Entry fees: $29 Irish 5K only, $85 all three races. All entrants will receive a t-shirt. The first 1,000 to register will receive a long sleeve technical shirt. Awards will be presented to top male and female winners in each age category and to the top finishing teams. Online registration closes Wednesday, Feb. 27. URBAN AGRICULTURE SPRING KICKOFF

Southside Community Land Trust will ring in another growing season by hosting its fourth annual urban agriculture spring kickoff from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence. The event will aim to generate excitement around urban agriculture in Providence, and to ready community members for the coming season by offering food-growing tips, tools and a seed swap. Light refreshments will be served and prizes will be raffled off. The family-friendly event will also include a kid’s corner where children can take part in crafts, games and other activities. SNOW BALL AT THE SKI LODGE

The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre will host its 11th annual fundraising party, the Snow Ball at the Ski Lodge, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. The event will be held at a mill located at 65 Blackstone Ave., Pawtucket. Guests will socialize with Gamm artists around a piano bar and enjoy ski-themed activities and a raffle. Gourmet comfort food and old-fashioned desserts will be served. A silent auction, which began online earlier this month at www.biddingforgood.com/gammtheatre will close during the party. Tickets: $125 black diamond, includes dinner, raffle ticket, commemorative photo and pass for beer and wine; $65 Bunny Hill tickets, includes dinner and one glass of beer or wine. WINTER BLUES BASH

The Middletown Education Collaborative will host its third annual Winter Blues Bash from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at Salve Regina University’s Ochre Court, 100 Ochre Point Ave., Newport. The James Montgomery band will perform during the event, which will also feature light fare, a cash bar, a raffle and live auction. Tickets: $50.
