BINGO FOR CHARITY

The North Kingstown Chamber Charitable Foundation will hold a bingo for charity event on Thursday, March 14 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of North Kingstown High School, 150 Fairway Drive, North Kingstown. The event includes 12 games, a gift basket raffle, cash prizes and a prize for the player with the “best Irish look.” Refreshments will be served. Tables may be reserved for groups of six or more. Proceeds will benefit scholarship funds and community projects that benefit businesses and residents of North Kingstown. Participants must be 18 or older. Cost: $20. ROCK OUT FOR CHILDREN’S WISHES

Children’s Wishes will hold a Rock Out fundraiser featuring the band What Matters? at the Twin River Event Center, 100 Twin River Road, Lincoln on Saturday, March 16, at 7 p.m. In addition to live music, the event will feature dinner stations and a cash bar. PPS PROM NIGHT BASH

The Providence Preservation Society will hold a winter bash from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the Providence G (formerly the Providence Gas Co. building), 100 Dorrance St., Providence. The event’s theme is prom night. Guests should don their best high school formal wear for an evening of spiked punch, streamers, balloons and awkward photos. Tickets: $30 until March 9, $35 between March 10 and March 22, $40 at the door. VIP tickets, which include admission to the chaperone’s party from 6 to 8 p.m., are available for $100. STRIKE A POSE BOWLING FUNDRAISER

Al’s Moving Minds will host its annual bowling fundraiser from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, at Meadowbrook Lanes, Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Participants will enjoy an evening of bowling, raffles, door prizes, food and a cash bar. All ages are welcome. Cost: $20 adults, $10 children younger than 12. For an additional $5, participants can get two slices of pizza and a soft drink. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization that offers on-site activities and events to people living at home with early to moderate memory loss. RESTAURANTS, VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT

AIDS Project Rhode Island is searching for restaurants and volunteers to assist with its Dining Out For Life fundraiser to be held on Thursday, April 25. In this event, diners are encouraged to eat at participating restaurants that will donate a portion of the night’s proceeds to the organization, which provides education, prevention and testing programs and a range of services for people living with HIV/AIDS in the state. Volunteers who have contacts at restaurants, or who are interested in helping to fill a participating restaurant, are also needed.
