FALL FUNDRAISER SOIREE
The Rhode Island Association for Infant Mental Health will host a fall fundraising event from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Cuban Revolution, 60 Valley St., Providence. CARNAVAL FUNDRAISER
Foster Forward will host “Carnaval: Uma Noite no Rio” from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 at Rhodes-on-the Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston. This annual gala to benefit youth in foster care will feature an evening of samba music, dancing, food and drink with acts by aerialists, jugglers, martial arts performers, a Brazilian marketplace and live and silent auctions. SHADES OF PINK FUNDRAISER
Shades of Pink will host its fifth annual fundraiser from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Corinne’s Restaurant, 1593 Newport Ave, Pawtucket. The event will feature a chicken dinner, music, auction, vendors and raffle items. All proceeds will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. Cost: $35 per person. 5K ROAD RACE FOR AUTISM
The Autism Project will host the “Galilee 5K Road Race for Autism Awareness” beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 45 State St., Narragansett. The race will be at the scenic loop around Galilee, with the start and finish at the end of Galilee Escape Road, Narragansett. All funds for this event will go to The Autism Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education of children with autism. Runners and walkers can register online or on race day beginning at 8 a.m. at the race venue. Cost to register: $10 for students; $20 for adults. BIKE RUN TO BENEFIT BREAST CANCER
Shelly Renaud Bernardini will host the third annual bra run and boudoir bingo event beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29 at City Side @ River Falls, 74 South Main St., Woonsocket. The best bra decorated bike will win a prize. The event will feature a buffet, 50/50 raffle and music by The Northeast Groove and DJ Jimmy following the run and bingo game. First 50 registered drivers get a free commemorative t-shirt. Registration for the bike run begins at 9:30 a.m. Rain or shine. Bingo begins at 12 p.m. All proceeds and bras are to be donated to Athena’s Cup, a nonprofit supporting breast cancer research. Cost: bike run registration: $20 and a bra(s) for riders; $15 for passengers.
