FISHIN’ WITH A MISSION

Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. will host an event for networking to raise money for Veteran Anglers Charters on Tuesday, July 23 at 5 p.m. at Blu, 20 Water St., East Greenwich. The event will feature complimentary appetizers, raffle prizes, live music, and a cash bar. Attendees should bring their business cards. Cost: bring a donation to support Veteran Anglers Charters, a nonprofit that offers free charter fishing trips to active duty, retired, wounded and recovering veterans and their families, providing recreational rehabilitation and therapeutic support. BEST OF RHODE ISLAND PARTY

Rhode Island Monthly will host a benefit to support Learn It to Earn It, an educational program providing underprivileged Rhode Island students with access to Broadway shows on Thursday, July 25 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Providence Performing Arts Center, 220 Weybosset St., Providence. The event will feature unlimited Narragansett Beer and wine, plus two signature martinis and food provided by a variety of Rhode Island caterers and restaurants with live entertainment by the East Side Horns. A silent auction, raffle prizes and games will also be held. A pre-party will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with food and drink from a variety of R.I. vendors and food trucks, and a live a capella performance! Cost: $50 per person (includes pre-party). CHARITY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

Children’s Wishes will host its second annual charity softball tournament on Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Dunnell Park, 500 Prospect St, Pawtucket. The tournament will feature division games with homerun derby and championship rounds, entertainment, food, music, and raffles. Free t-shirt for all participants. Competitive and recreational divisions. Ages 18 & up. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Registration deadline is Saturday, July 20. Cost: $250 team; $25 individual; $5 homerun derby entry. BACCHANALE BALL

Newport Polo will host its annual black tie charity gala on Friday, August 2 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Rosecliff Mansion, 548 Bellevue Ave., Newport. The gala will feature a reception on the terrace and a seated gourmet dinner created by Blackstone in the gilded ballroom with live entertainment until midnight. Proceeds from the event will go to The Hope Fund for Cancer Research. 30th ANNIVERSARY GOLF TOURNAMENT

Providence Children’s Museum will hold its 30th anniversary Allen H. Chatterton Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, August 5 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Wannamoisett Country Club, 96 Hoyt Ave., Rumford. Golf registration begins at 11:30 AM with a shotgun start at 1:15 PM and prizes will be awarded for skill contests such as longest drive as well as for a betting hole – including the chance to win a luxury car for a hole-in-one. Cocktails and dinner begin at 6:00 PM, and the evening includes a live auction featuring rounds of golf at exclusive courses. Cost: Golf packages begin at $1,500; dinner only tickets $75 per person.
