Point Judith Capital opens Boston office

PROVIDENCE – Venture-capital firm Point Judith Capital opened a Boston office, where partner Zaid Ashai will focus on expanding into the clean technology industry.
The firm will share its 3,500 square-foot space with two companies from its investment portfolio: Nexamp, which is based in North Andover, Mass., and focuses on renewable power, and Boston-based energy software company Earth Aid.
Though the space is full for now, Ashai told the Boston Globe that the company may expand its Boston office in the future.
In addition to clean technology, Point Judith Capital invests in internet and healthcare startups.
