MIDDLETOWN – The Potter League for Animals will be offering workshops designed especially for Girl Scout Juniors, Brownies and Daisies, starting in late October.
The program includes a session with humane education-based activities. Girls will meet the animals at the shelter, learn about animal care and pet responsibility and create a craft. A Potter League patch will be awarded to each participant.
Afternoon workshop dates are Oct. 25, Nov. 8 for Brownies; Jan 10 for Juniors; and Jan. 24 and Feb. 7 for Daisies.
The program takes place in the Alletta Morris Education Center. Participants should register directly with the Potter League. A non-refundable fee of $11 per girl is due at the time of registration to secure spots in workshop. A troop leader or attending chaperone may register a partial troop with a minimum of 3 girls.
