PROVIDENCE – Premama has introduced two new pill-free solutions to address preconception through postpartum concerns.
Premama, which makes powdered drink mixes to support the nutritional needs of expecting and new mothers, said the new products, Fertility and Lactation, launched last month at drinkpremama.com and retailers nationwide.
“For many, the maternity journey includes the introduction to vitamins, fertility supplements, heartburn, constipation, nausea and lactation,” Dan Aziz, founder and president of Premama/Luna Pharmaceuticals Inc., said in a statement. “Through our extensive research, we found there was a lot of confusion surrounding safe solutions for pregnancy-related concerns outside of prenatal vitamins, such as fertility and lactation. With our drinkable supplements, we are able to address these concerns safely, naturally and conveniently.”
Premama Fertility is an unflavored drink mix supplement designed to mix with non-carbonated liquids. It includes Myo-Inositol, which the company said helps naturally support healthy egg production and ovulation.
Premama Lactation is a berry-flavored drink mix supplement designed to mix with non-carbonated liquids and formulated with fenugreek, fennel seed and blessed thistle to help naturally support healthy milk production, along with folic acid, vitamin D3, calcium and other nutrients for both mother and baby.
Premama’s core product line debuted in 2012 with its physician-approved alternative to traditional prenatal pills: Premama Essentials and Premama Essentials + DHA.
