Primary Flow Signal, Turbines tap Maser

CRANSTON – Primary Flow Signal and its sister company Turbines Inc. have selected Maser (M) Sdn Bhd of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as the companies’ authorized distributor for Malaysia and the Far East region.
Maser, a leading technology distributor in the Malayasian oil and gas, power generation, water and services industries, will provide distribution, sales, customer service and product support to help Primary Flow Signal and Turbines Inc. meet the growing market demands of not only Malaysia but also Vietnam and Thailand.
“Maser is a great addition to our distribution network,” said Bruce Briggs, president and CEO of Primary Flow Signal and Turbines Inc., in a Sept. 18 release. “With more than 30 years of experience, Maser has proven to share and maintain the same strict standards to which we hold ourselves – to provide reliable differential and turbine metering solutions, as well as outstanding customer support.”
The Malaysian oil and gas industry produces up to 730 thousand barrels of crude oil per day, with a goal of becoming the top oil and gas producer by 2017. Ensuring the area’s growth requires new technologies that meet global standards for accurate, verifiable measurement, said Primary Flow Signal in a press release.
Primary Flow Signal is a Cranston-based designer and manufacturer of durable and accurate flow-metering solutions for water and wastewater, industrial, and oil and gas applications. Turbines Inc., also based in Rhode Island, is a designer and manufacturer of turbine flow metering solutions.
