Prime Healthcare application deemed incomplete

PROVIDENCE – State regulators have determined that the application from Prime Healthcare Services of Ontario, Calif., filed the first week of January, to purchase Landmark Medical Center is incomplete, the R.I. Attorney General’s office announced Friday.

The state regulators said that the most notable omission was from Prime Healthcare regarding the proposed transaction.

In addition, the state regulators gave Prime Healthcare and Jonathan N. Savage, the special master for Landmark, a deadline of March 15 to respond with the information requested.

Also, the state regulators asked Prime Healthcare and Savage to execute an amendment to the asset purchase agreement to accommodate the additional review time.
