Providence Biltmore affiliates with Hilton Worldwide

PROVIDENCE – The Providence Biltmore has affiliated with Hilton Worldwide by joining its Curio Collection, a global group of hotels known for their uniqueness and authenticity.
Built in 1922 by Warren and Wetmore, the same architects who designed New York City’s Grand Central Station, the hotel features 294 recently renovated guestrooms and suites and 18,000 square feet of event space.
“We look forward to bringing our legacy of gracious hospitality and authentic character into a new era with the Curio Collection,” Todd Finard, CEO of Finard Properties, the hotel’s owner and operator, said in a press release. “The Hilton name provides new reach and tools to continue, and even elevate, the Biltmore’s long standing tradition of excellence.”
Dianna Vaughan, global head, Curio – A Collection by Hilton, said the Biltmore “exemplifies the core values” of the collection because of its historical significance and leadership in the hospitality industry.
“Without sacrificing the hotel’s independent approach that has proved successful for nearly a century, Curio will enhance the Providence Biltmore experience for both the hotel owners and guests through the assurance of the Hilton name, and the benefits of our invaluable HHonors loyalty program.”
The Biltmore also features The Spa, the city’s largest spa; McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks; and one of the nation’s largest Starbucks.
Next year, the last stage of a $13-million renovation plan will update the three-story atrium lobby and function rooms.
Curio hotels offer guests its Hilton HHonors guest-loyalty program, which serves more than 40 million members with points that can be redeemed for rewards. The Biltmore is offering 1,000 points per night from today through April 30, 2015, when guests book the best available rate.
