Providence Geek Dinner to feature NuLabel

PROVIDENCE – NuLabel Technologies will be featured at Wednesday’s Geek Dinner at AS220 downtown.

NuLabel, based in East Providence with a satellite lab in North Carolina, makes adhesives that are only sticky when they need to be.

NuLabel’s CEO Max Winograd and co-founder and chief technology officer Ben Lux will tell NuLabel’s story and discuss where the company is headed next.

Winograd, Lux and Michael Woods formed the company in 2009 after graduating from Brown University.

The company was founded in 2009 by three Brown University graduates, and to date, has raised $14.5 million, secured nine patents and grown its employees to 24, according to information posted about the upcoming dinner.

The event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at 115 Empire St., is free; food and beverages will be available for purchase. It will end at 8 p.m. RSVP HERE.
