PROVIDENCE – The Providence Preservation Society will hold its annual meeting on Jan. 20 at the Providence Public Library auditorium, 225 Washington St.
The keynote speaker is Adele Chatfield-Taylor, a former president and CEO of the American Academy in Rome, which supports the work of writers, artists and scholars. Chatfield-Taylor has an extensive track record in historic preservation, according to a news release, and served as executive director of the New York Landmarks Preservation Foundation and was a Loeb Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
The annual meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
