Oure Pleasure Singers, under the direction of Tim Harbold, bring a festive holiday concert with a broad range of selections from spirituals to the classics of the holiday season. Discover America's rich tradition of hymns, spirituals, and sacred songs with the OP Singers. The concert will explore hymns from the Sacred Harp and African American spirituals in both traditional and contemporary settings along with several selections for the holiday season. Composers and arrangers include William Dawson, William Billings, Lowell Mason, Andre Thomas, Michael Tippett, Abbie Betinis and more.

Oure Pleasure Singers, founded in 1983, are a small group of vocalists dedicated to the joy of serious music-making. Comprised of singers from Providence, Attleboro, and surrounding communities, the ensemble sings an eclectic variety of music, ranging from plainchant to jazz, and embracing both the sacred and the secular. In its earlier days, Oure Pleasure concentrated on madrigals and music of the Renaissance and Medieval periods, and its name is borrowed from the words of the madrigal “Sing We and Chant It,” once its signature piece.
