Providence Winter Restaurant Weeks kick off Jan. 10

DINERS ARE encouraged to “take a bite out of winter” during Providence Winter Restaurant Weeks, which start next week.

PROVIDENCE – Diners are encouraged to “take a bite out of winter” during Providence Winter Restaurant Weeks, which begin Jan. 10 and run through Jan. 23.
This year, approximately 80 restaurants offering special lunches and dinners are featured.
Three-course, prix fixe lunches will be offered for $14.95, and three-course prix fixe dinners will be offered for $29.95 and $34.95. A list of all participating restaurants, along with their restaurant week menus, can be found at ProvidenceRestaurantWeeks.com.

Providence Winter Restaurant Weeks are sponsored by Guinness Blonde, Open Table and the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau.

“We are so proud that Providence Restaurant Weeks has become a winter tradition,” Martha Sheridan, president and CEO of the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau, said in a statement. “Providence has become a top culinary destination, and this is a great way for locals and visitors alike to sample some of the restaurants that the national media are spotlighting.”
Restaurants in communities beyond Providence also are participating. Barrington, Bristol, Cranston, East Greenwich, Lincoln, Pawtucket, Smithfield, South Kingstown and Warwick, as well as Rehoboth and Seekonk in Massachusetts, are part of the promotion.
