EAST GREENWICH - Prudential Gammons Realty has been “specifically selected” as a partner to the International Multiple Listing Service (IMLS), and exclusive access to international leads, the company announced Wednesday.
As Rhode Island’s only preferred partner, only Prudential’s clients have access to the bustling international buyers market. The expansion also offers growth potential to owner Allen B. Gammons’ 46-agents team, while also supporting new hires.
“More than anything, we want to offer our sellers in Rhode Island the best possible exposure to the international market that is so brisk right now,” Gammons said in an email interview with Providence Business News.
Finding a property on the international real estate market is free to anyone using the online IMLS database, which is run by The International Realty Inc. But Prudential has a unique advantage as a member of their “Preferred Partner” program.
“Other brokers in Rhode Island will be able to list their properties on the platform later,” said Daniel R. Nussbaum, CEO and founder of The International Realty. “...but only Prudential Gammons has the licensing and marketing rights to The IMLS to solicit for agents and home owners who wish to sell their properties and seek international exposure through The IMLS platform.”
Prudential the first and only in the state to stake this claim due to the pioneering spirit of Gammons, who said he met Nussbaum and his team three years ago and chose to form a partnership when the database had been optimized.
International Realty is a privately-held, Los Angeles-based real estate company and manager of the IMLS database.
