R.I. Hospital named among best to work for

PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island Hospital was named among the top 25 best hospitals to work for in the United States by HealthExec News, a health care information network and daily publication focused on trends and issues facing executives working in the health care industry.

The hospital was recognized for its commitment to providing employees with exceptional benefits and opportunities. The top 25 hospitals were chosen from among 6,000 registered hospitals in the nation.

HealthExecNews rated hospitals on metrics such as opportunities for professional development, exceptional benefits, compensation, activities, efficient workflow and employee satisfaction.

Rhode Island Hospital was cited for unique benefits such as “Lunch and Learn” sessions on topics covering everything from gardening to college planning; health and wellness programs; flexible work arrangements; and its Employee Fund, which provides financial assistance to employees when an unexpected catastrophic event.
