R.I. execs group present year-end donations

Right in time to warm up the holidays of those in need, the 35 member companies of The Executives Association of Rhode Island presented donations of cash and children’s clothing to Project Undercover during their yearend meeting held Dec. 18.
Project Undercover is a local nonprofit organization that supports children living in poverty by providing diapers, underclothing and winter items.
Richard Fleischer, founder of Project Undercover, attended EARI’s yearend meeting to accept the contributions and provide an update on the increasing need for donations throughout Rhode Island.
“We won’t hold these items long,” Fleischer said of EARI’s donations. “They will be on little bodies by the weekend.”
Items contributed by the organization were earmarked for families of veterans who are poor or homeless.
2012 marked the second year that EARI chose to donate to Project Undercover for its annual holiday giving project.
