Under the law, commercial health-insurance issuers must collect information on a subscriber’s primary-care physician at the time of enrollment – and once a year thereafter. The law applies to all commercially insured subscribers and any dependents residing in Rhode Island.
OHIC has asked stakeholders to submit their ideas and considerations on how the new law should be implemented.
