RIBGH to host ‘2013: The Year of the Exchange’

PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island Business Group on Health will be hosting its annual advocacy and legislative breakfast on March 22 at the Providence Marriott Downtown from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., focused on the R.I. Health Benefits Exchange.
The gathering will feature R.I. Health Benefits Exchange Director Christine Ferguson, who will give a presentation and field questions from the audience.
Among the questions RIBGH members are seeking answers to is: how will the exchange attract small businesses to use the exchange to purchase health insurance for their employees?
Peter Kilmartin, a partner in Mercer’s Health & Benefits practice, will offer an offer an overview of the latest developments in the private exchange marketplace.
