RIC to host ‘Artbotics’ discussion

PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island College is set to host an “Artbotics” discussion as part of Computer Science Education Week.

The talk, which explores the intersections among art, computer science and robotics, is slated to take place on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 4:30 p.m. in the Faculty Center South Dining Room.

Funded by the Rhode Island College Committee on College Lectures, the talk by University of Massachusetts Lowell professor Holly Yanco is free and open to the public.

Yanco is a professor in the computer science department at UMass Lowell, where she founded the Robotics Lab and co-development the Artbotics program.
