LINCOLN – The student information system Infinite Campus has been selected, along with Custom Computer Specialists Inc., as a partnering vendor for the R.I. Department of Education, Custom recently announced.
The change added Infinite Campus to the Rhode Island Master Price Agreement #469 – Multi-District Student Information System, allowing the system provider to be available for purchase to school districts and the state without specific requests for proposal for new systems.
Some Rhode Island school districts have been using Infinite Campus since 2007, and it was chosen to join the agreement after the education department evaluated several options for a system.
The services Infinite Campus provides include immediate access to curriculum, assessment, student IEP, census and other data, as well as emergency messaging systems, cloud services, record sharing across districts and an online payment method.
“Our expertise in enterprise systems integration and K12 operations ensure a smooth transition to Infinite Campus for Rhode Island districts,” Alan Lacher, Custom’s chief operating officer, said in prepared remarks. “We are geared towards focusing on what really matters – improving education for students.”
