Rand-Whitney to expand warehouse with 65K-square-foot addition

PAWTUCKET – Rand-Whitney is expanding its warehouse at 455 Narragansett Park Dr. by 65,000 square feet, and will use the enlarged facility to store the company’s corrugated packaging products.
The one-story addition will include space for a 425-square-foot conference room, a cafeteria and a driver’s office. Upon completion, the building will be 150,000 square feet.
Site clearing began in September. Steel erection was scheduled to begin this month, with an expected completion by June 2017. PROCON, of Manchester, N.H., is the design-build firm handling the project.
Rand-Whitney, which produces and ships corrugated displays, shipping containers and folding cartons to a variety of consumers and industrial clients, is owned by The Kraft Group, owner of the New England Patriots.
