Monday, Providence Children’s Museum will honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with exhibits, activities and live performances. During the event, families can learn about King’s life, his work and the impact of discrimination. Award-winning storytellers and actors Rochel Coleman and Valerie Tutson will sing songs and share stories as they portray Civil Rights activists Rosa Parks, Ralph Abernathy and others through “MLK: Amazing Grace.” The production, suitable for children 5 and older, is said to explain a serious subject, but includes lighter moments as well.
