BOSTON – RevUp by Betaspring last month accepted Easy Mortgage Apps into its accelerator program to help the fledgling startup grow its mobile-first platform for mortgage services.
The Boston-based company aims to help borrowers, loan officers and real estate agents communicate, share documents and streamline the lending process, according to RevUp by Betaspring LLC.
“The end result? Happier homebuyers, more on-time closings, and less friction between people who don’t have the bandwidth to spare,” Betaspring wrote in a press release.
Betaspring changed its accelerator approach earlier this year and now only works with revenue-generating companies. Easy Mortgage Apps, or EMA, is currently serving more than 100 banks in cities across the country, according to Betaspring, and it:

  • Provides information and details about loan status at a glance, all in one place
  • Utilizes fully compliant push notifications for important milestones (appraisal, approval, rate lock, closing date, etc.)
  • Features Mobile Capture Technology for securely uploading required documents for approval
  • Has integration with existing loan origination systems and/or CRM
  • Allows borrowers to view and download on-demand loan documentation (appraisal, approval, closing docs, etc.)
  • Has instant, direct connection with referral source or real estate agent through messaging, notifications and loan information sharing
  • Has the ability to provide access to others associated with the loan (i.e., home inspector, appraiser, home insurance agent, escrow, title company, closing attorney)
  • RevUp by Betaspring works with companies generating $10,000 to $15,000 per month and aims to help them grow customers and revenue during a three-month immersion program. Participating companies receive $75,000 in cash, which RevUp collects back in addition to a percentage of company’s monthly revenue over a 36-month period.
EMA is the program’s most recent company.
“EMA offers a proven, branded mobile solution for a fraction of what it would cost them to develop internally,” according to Betaspring. “Better communication among all parties delivers faster closings with no surprises and improves relations with referral sources and real estate agents. Most importantly, EMA saves valuable time and money for the loan originators.”
