PROVIDENCE – Business owners and potential entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to present their experiences and opinions about doing business in Rhode Island at a series of forums called RhodeMapRI, sponsored by the R.I. Division of Planning.

“This is a chance for all Rhode Island residents and business owners to learn about RhodeMap RI, but most importantly, it is a chance for us to hear about the opportunities and challenges they face every day,” said Gov. Lincoln D. Chafee in press release announcing the forums. “We want all our cities and towns to be thriving and successful.”

The forums will be used to gather feedback about many aspects of living and working in the Ocean State, including the opportunities and challenges related to starting and maintaining a business.

RhodeMapRI forums will be held from 5to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at Roger Williams University; Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the University of Rhode Island; and Thursday, Aug. 8 at East Providence Senior Center. Information is available from Melanie.Army@Doa.Ri.Gov or 401-222-6183.
