Richard M. Locke

Richard M. Locke has been named director of the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University. Locke, the current deputy dean of the Sloan School of Management and head of the political science department at MIT, will provide intellectual leadership and strategic direction for the institute. He holds a Ph.D. from MIT in political science and will begin work at Brown in July. •
