Robert LaCasse has been appointed general manager of Hyatt Regency Newport. LaCasse most recently served as regional director of operations for Interstate Hotels and Resorts, where he oversaw day-to-day operations of five hotels. He has held a variety of roles in the hospitality industry and has more than 25 years of related experience. LaCasse holds a B.S. in business from Hesser College. •
