Robots rule at NEIT

Teams from Burrillville High School, on left in blue shirts, and Mt. Hope High School in Bristol, in Hawaiian shirts, compete Feb. 4 in the FIRST Tech Challenge at the New England Institute of Technology. More than 30 Rhode Island high school teams joined in the competition, which encouraged students to learn how to design, build and program an original robot. The teams then competed against each other using a sports model. This was the sixth year that NEIT has hosted the competition, held at the school’s center for automotive technology in Warwick. More
