Why did you select your profession?

I wanted to create a platform to help independent designers in the Northeast become better known in the industry.

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?

I would also like to see the city of Providence be known as a fashion-industry destination.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?

No matter what, always go with your gut. Your intuition is not just for personal decisions but all business decisions.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Stay true to being yourself while staying humble and kind.

What is your favorite escape or hobby?

The beach, at all seasons! The California girl inside me will never go away. There is nothing that puts things in perspective more than the ocean.

How do you keep a work-life balance?

I really don’t! It’s actually an ongoing issue at this point. I am in the process of trying not to bring my phone when I walk the dog or turning it off at night but it’s really hard. •
