PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island office of the Small Business Administration is sponsoring two workshops to assist companies in using social media to add to the bottom line.
“Grow Your Business with Email and Social Media” will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 4 to 5:30 pm. at the East Bay Chamber of Commerce in Warren. The workshop will include guidelines on creating a marketing plan, timing messages and optimizing email and social media channels to help increase revenue.

A workshop on “Build Your Business: Social Media Boot Camp” will be held Monday, Dec. 9 at the Center for Women and Enterprise in Providence from 9 a.m. to 3 pm. Cost of the workshop is $195 with some scholarships available for eligible participants.
The workshop will assist small businesses in gaining traction on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+ and Pinterest. Time-saving automated techniques for using social media and as well as using blogs to capture audience will be addressed in the program.
