SBANE seeking nominees for annual innovation awards

The Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) is calling for nominations for this year’s New England Innovation Awards Program.
Small businesses ranging from nonprofits to technology and manufacturing are eligible for awards as long as they align with the criteria outlined on the SBANE website’s application page. In order to qualify, the business must make a maximum of $100 million and have been in operation for at least one year. Businesses will be judged on their effectiveness in addressing community needs, as well as demonstrating success through profit and growth.
The Rising Star category will be for those new and upcoming businesses that may not have become profitable yet but have proven their worth and position within the business community.
Applications are due Feb. 24. Information can be found HERE.
SBANE will hold a series of events leading up to the New England Innovation Awards Gala and announcement of winners on May 12 at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, Mass. At the gala, the president of Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Wesley D. Kremer, will be the keynote speaker.
