SEA CORP wins NUWC contract

MIDDLETOWN – SEA CORP won a $3.5 million contract from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Newport, it announced on May 27.
SEA CORP will be responsible for the design, development, acquisition and operational readiness of test vehicles associated with submarine and surface-launched missile systems.
As part of its engineering services for the Tomahawk missile flight tests, the company will provide technical and data analysis support for the flight test program, and prepare updates and launch platform inputs to missile flight test plans and reports.
“This award has SEA CORP continuing work in supporting Navy missile systems – a support job that we have been doing for over 15 years. We are proud to have the Navy award this contract again to us to continue our excellent support to the Navy for the Tomahawk missile that has performed superbly in the recent support to NATO forces assisting the conflict in Libya,” said Robert McDevitt, SEA CORP senior vice president.
