MIDDLETOWN – Systems Engineering Associates Corp. has won a five-year contract up to $800 million to support U.S. Navy radio frequency systems.
SEA Corp. was one of 12 companies to receive a contract from the Office of Naval Research in support of the Electromagnetic Maneuver, Command and Control program.
SEA Corp. will focus on design, fabrication, integration, and test and evaluation for the development and demonstration of a set of prototypes. Prototypes will exhibit technologies that enable advanced multifunction radio frequency architectures that integrate electronic warfare, radar, communications and information operations functions across common infrastructures, the company said.

“This win complements SEA Corp.’s extensive experience with EW/RF systems and with combat and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. SEA Corp. is eager to have the opportunity to showcase innovative solutions for next-generation capabilities in support of the U.S. Navy. We look forward to applying our personnel and expertise in this area to develop concepts and products and integrate them with existing systems in support of this contract,” David Lussier, SEA CORP’s executive vice president, said in a statement.

David Cadorette, SEA Corp. senior vice president, said his company is meeting next week with the ONR to discuss the contract, and whether they will need to add to their workforce to support the work.
