SEED Corp. outlining SBA programs

TAUNTON – A training session to provide information on two U.S. Small Business Administration loan programs will be held in Raynham on Friday, May 3, sponsored by the South Eastern Economic Development Corp.

The information on the SBA loan programs is useful for commercial lenders, economic development officials, accountants and commercial realtors.

The workshop will cover the SBA 504 loan program for commercial real estate and large fixed assets, such as equipment. It will also cover the SBA 7A loan program that can be used for a wide range of commercial transactions.

Speakers include Rhode Island SBA District Director Mark Hayward and Massachusetts SBA District Director Robert Nelson.

The workshop is from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stoneforge Publick House. The cost is $25,

which includes breakfast. Registration deadline is April 26. For information call SEED at 508-822-1020.
