The 12-week program, developed with Brown University, will launch Sept. 19. SEG said it identified health and wellness as a cluster in which “there is great need and opportunity.”
“With the introduction of the health and wellness Initiative, we aim to help New England regional health and wellness-focused social enterprises receive the training they need to grow their businesses and make a positive impact on the health of our communities. Thanks to funding from the Department of Labor and Training’s Real Jobs RI initiative, SEG hopes to collaborate with other organizations working in the health and wellness space to support ventures that prioritize the health and wellbeing of our local population,” information on SEG’s website reads.
