The East Bay Chamber of Commerce will offer a seminar on developing people you can rely on from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Chamber, 16 Cutler St., Suite 102, Warren.
This workshop is for those who are stretched thin with limited time for managing, planning and a personal life. Designed for business owners and senior managers, the course will teach participants how to develop a willingness and ability to share responsibilities, delegate duties to individuals who work for you directly and redirect energies and talents into areas which only you can handle.
Topics to be discussed include profiling the successful assistant, learning to coach and share talents, delegating and developing techniques to increase time for effective planning and more successful managing.
Ed Alves of People Resources Inc. will lead the course. Cost: free for members, $10 nonmembers.
