Salvatore named to R.I. Association of Realtors post

WARWICK – David Salvatore, a Providence City Council member, has been named government affairs director for the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. He will perform outreach efforts on behalf of the real estate association on legislative and regulatory initiatives that have a potential impact on real estate and housing, according to a news release.
Salvatore is now a policy analyst for the R.I. House of Representatives. He will begin the new position in December, according to the Realtors association.
Salvatore has a bachelor’s degree in management from Rhode Island College and is pursuing an MBA from Roger Williams University. In 2013, he became a policy analyst for the House of Representatives after a 13-year career with Staples Inc.
On the City Council, he represents a ward covering parts of Downtown Providence and Federal Hill.
