Scott A. McCaughey has been named vice president and commercial lending officer at The Washington Trust Co. McCaughey will be responsible for developing and maintaining commercial-banking relationships. McCaughey previously served as commercial-lending relationship manager for Citizens Bank in Providence. He holds a B.S. in business administration from Stonehill College. •
