MIDDLETOWN – Systems and engineering services supplier Sea Corp was awarded a $29 million contract to provide laboratory support services, fabrication, repair, installation and maintenance services to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport.
Veteran-owned Sea Corp, which has provided navy services for more than 30 years, will provide support with submarine imaging, electronic warfare, communication, antenna and special project programs, according to a release.
“This award has Sea Corp continuing work in one of our core business areas - supporting the Navy’s high technology electromagnetic systems – a job that we have been doing for over 20 years,” Davis Lussier, Sea Corp’s senior vice president, said in a prepared statement.
“We are proud to have the Navy award this contract to us to continue our excellent support to help the Navy provide leading-edge technology improvements that greatly enhance the ability of our submarine fleet to accomplish its missions,” added Davis.
