Sean W. McIntyre has been promoted to vice president/commercial lending at NewportFed. In his new role, McIntyre is responsible for originating new commercial loans and maintaining and servicing the existing portfolio throughout Rhode Island and Connecticut. He has been with the company since 2006 and was previously employed at Bank of America and Fleet Boston Financial. •
