Save The Bay Aquarium has officially opened for the winter season, offering extended hours, a new octopus exhibit and Halloween fun. This weekend, the aquarium will host its annual haunted aquarium event, transforming itself into a playground of ghosts, jack-o’-lanterns and at least one mummy-wrapped squid. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to come in costume to explore the 14 interactive exhibits and meet Toodles, a common octopus. Common octopuses migrate into the bay for the winter and are one of the smartest types of invertebrates.
