CENTRAL FALLS, Rhode Island - On Friday, August 17 from noon to 2pm, Segue Institute for Learning will host its 3rd Annual Leaders Lunch. The public are invited to visit the school, meet leadership and staff, and learn about plans for the new academic year.
This is the first year at full student capacity of 240 students.
"We welcome everyone to visit and see first-hand how the entire Segue community is committed to taking responsibility for education, improving quality of life, and encouraging civic engagement," said Angelo Garcia, Head of School.
Civic engagement is a pillar of the school. Segue works with parents and the community to take ownership of student education. Parents are partners - and teachers, board members and staff take an active role in creating an intense connection between home and school environments.
"In terms of community, Segue is the core and the students are seeds within the core. As these 'seeds' are protected and nourished, they will provide the Central Falls community with educated, involved citizens," said Garcia.
Segue Institute for Learning is located at 325 Cowden Street in Central Falls.
