Seminar for holiday social media marketing

PROVIDENCE – With the holidays fast approaching, small business need to adapt their use of the Internet to capture a larger audience. Social Media enables businesses to connect with current and prospective customers through online dialogue, and allows them to connect with each other and share their experience with your products or services.

That’s why a seminar focusing on social media and the holidays will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, from 8:30-10:30 a.m., at the Center for Women & Enterprise, 132 George M. Cohan Blvd., Providence. The session will feature Gil Lantini, president of Focus Business Solutions in Johnston.

Lantini will explain the research required and steps involved in developing a social media strategy, as well as discuss the major components of a social media strategy. Lantini will present ways to integrate a website with a social media strategy, and how a social media strategy supports overall business goals.

Attend this workshop and learn how to use online networking outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogs to create an effective social media strategy for your business.
