As a business consultant, John Boudreau repeatedly found employers and employees moving in different directions, with inconsistent goals.

The recurring pattern pushed him in March to start Cranston-based software company Envisionable LLC, which helps business owners drive employee satisfaction and engagement by aligning company vision, goals and metrics.

“If you go into any company … one of the biggest problems is employee engagement and satisfaction,” Boudreau said. “Maybe the company goals aren’t clear, or they haven’t been articulated well to employees, but companies are concerned with engagement and everybody understanding what their goals are. If you have more than two people, you have that problem.”

Envisionable’s web-based software allows users to communicate company vision, track goals and initiatives, define key performance metrics and has the added bonus of consulting and support. •
