The program is a joint venture with the National Science Foundation’s Rhode Island Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research aiming to “encourage entrepreneurship in the life sciences and biotechnology industries in Rhode Island” by engaging upper-class undergraduate and graduate students in local universities’ venture development process.

It funds up to six internships per semester. Applications are due Feb. 29 at 5 p.m. The program will begin in March and end in June.
