Oliver Hazard Perry Rhode Island will continue building the 196-foot, steel-hulled ship at Senesco. The major work to come includes fabrication of fuel tanks, installation of the lower deck and machinery, fabrication of new topsides,
weather deck, bulwarks, transom and other work. The vessel is envisioned as a sailing classroom for students of all ages.
