BOSTON – Southwest Airlines will end flights to Philadelphia from T.F. Green on Feb. 11, as previously announced, a spokeswoman confirmed, part of a move that will see the elimination of all 13 daily flights connecting New England to the City of Brotherly Love.
The airline is “right-sizing” its Philadelphia operations, the Mass. Market blog said, rather than curtailing its New England operations.
The flight cuts, affecting T.F. Green, Manchester, N.H., and Boston's Logan Airport, were previously announced in July.
Mass. Market said there will be 52 daily flights out of Philadelphia once the cuts are in place.
