Spielo signs another contract with AGLC

MONCTON, Canada – Spielo International, a GTECH affiliate, has been selected by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission to work on an application for its video lottery terminal system.

Spielo is set to work on a “Player Experience Solution” through the company’s value-added player services manager.

“We’re pleased to have the opportunity to work with AGLC to enhance the functionality of their Intelligen Central System with our player experience solution,” Spielo president and CEO Walter Bugno said in a statement.

“Our goal is to provide AGLC with future capabilities for a two-way communication conduit between the operator and the player, and significantly enhance the program’s entertainment value,” added Bugno.

Spielo’s player experience solution will provide technology that enables two-way communication between the operator and the player of the video lottery terminals without affecting the functionality of the base game.

This deal is one of many between Spielo and the AGLC. In July 2011, Spielo signed a five-year contract with the Canadian gaming service to provide the company’s Intelligen Central Systems to the AGLC.

In December 2011, the AGLC selected Spielo’s distributed game management application for the Intelligen central system. The company also signed a multi-year contract in November 2011 to provide the AGLC with new video lottery terminals and a new set of VLT games.
