StepStone Hospitality adds 2 N.Y. hotels to management portfolio

PROVIDENCE – StepStone Hospitality, a hotel management company that specializes in premier properties, has added two hotels in Midtown Manhattan to its portfolio of management properties.
The 132-room Gregory Hotel and the 173-room Renwick Hotel, located within blocks of each other, became a part of Curio, A Collection by Hilton on Dec. 1.
This brings the StepStone management portfolio to 15 hotels. The New York properties are owned by Meadow Partners, an international real estate investment group that receives asset management services from Hotel Asset Value Enhancement Inc.
The Gregory Hotel recently completed a $10 million renovation. It was formerly called the Gregorian. It is within walking distance of the Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall.
The Renwick Hotel was known for the great artists, writers and intellectuals who visited the property in the 1920s. It is named for James Renwick Jr., an American architect active in the early 1800s.
