Stop & Shop to aid schools through loyalty card

PROVIDENCE – Now customers who use their loyalty card when shopping at Stop & Shop can help two New England schools of their choice earn money through the A+ School Rewards program during the 2016-17 school year.
Mark McGowan, president of Stop & Shop’s New England division, said: “Over the years, the program has helped to fund educational programs, field trips, scholarships, playgrounds and more, building healthier school communities.”
Since 2009, Stop & Shop has donated more than $7 million in unrestricted funding, which can be used to support any school needs, to public and private schools across New England.
Stop & Shop customers do not need to have a child enrolled in the school for the school to benefit, the school does not have to be local to the Stop & Shop location and the A+ School Rewards program is open to everyone.
All registered schools will earn points through March 16, 2017. For more information, and to sign up, visit stopandshop.com/savings-and-rewards/rewards-program/aplus.
